ALDIS mobile is a service provided by ALDIS – Austrian Lightning Detection and Information System. Optimized for mobile devices to get a view on the current thunderstorms in Austria.
A newly developed subsystem connects with the ALDIS data center to display live lightning data in very short time frames. Several tools are used to detect mobile devices and display an optimized version to them. iPhone, iPod touch or iPad users can use ALDIS mobile as a webapp.
